Letter from Headmaster

Welcome to Edmund Burke Academy, home of the Spartans!!

Thank you for your interest in Edmund Burke Academy.  We are very proud of our 60+ years of excellence and warmly welcome you and your family into our school to meet our students, faculty and parents who help keep that tradition alive today.  With approximately 390 students enrolled in grades K-3 through 12th grade, EBA offers a full college preparatory academic program, as well as comprehensive athletic and literary programs.

We are proud of our 100% graduation rate which includes 80% of our graduates being eligible for the HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarships.  Whether your student’s plans include a traditional four year college, technical college, the military or the workforce, we are confident that they will be prepared for life after high school. EBA works with our local universities and technical colleges to offer a variety of dual enrollment opportunities that allow students the potential to earn credit hours toward the completition of their certificates, diplomas, or degrees.

In addition to academic excellence, our athletic programs also have a winning tradition.  We are proud to offer athletic opportunities to our students beginninging in first grade with Jr. Pro Cross Country and culminating in championship level varsity sports. Collectively, our current coaching staff has won over 35 region titles and 13 state championships. We are also growing our fine arts and literary programs by adding drama to our elective class options for 2022. We pride ourselves in graduating well-rounded students.

Edmund Burke Academy’s small size and intimate setting provide students with closeness and accountability that is unmatched.  Prayer and devotions are important parts of daily school life.  With weekly Bible study and chapel programs, Christian values remain vital to our educational process.

Here at Edmund Burke Academy, we strongly believe that every student counts and our faculty works hard to make sure that conviction is realized.  Honesty, integrity, courtesy and respect for the rights of others are a way of life. If a small, nurturing environment conducive to learning is what you are seeking, then EBA is the place for you. Please visit us or call the school (706) 554-4479 to schedule a visit.
